Description
Global Citizen Year is the launching pad for bold high school grads who are hungry to make a real impact in the world, and to make college count.
Graduated high school seniors who participate in the Fellows program, are given the opportunity to live and work in Brazil, Ecuador, India or Senegal during a bridge year before college.
During their Global Citizen Year, Fellows are immersed in everyday life in a community a world away from home. Living with a host family and contributing to local projects in fields like education, health and the environment, Fellows break down the barrier between “us” and “them”, and between the classroom and the world.
