Experts in their fields such as Surina Basho, Jo Boaler, David Kessler, Nancy Mather, have come to work with teachers in our community for extended workshops that address brain development, effective teaching pedagogy, classroom management etc. Workshop titles have included Assessment and Intervention for Students with Dyslexia, Eradicating Low Achievement in Mathematics Classrooms and Making the Connection: Differentiated Instruction and Mindset
PEN has partnered with organizations such as Northern California Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (NCBIDA) to bring these workshops to teachers and professionals throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
