As educators, we are always preparing students for the next step in their lives. Since the road to many careers involves college, students learn about the college experience from day 1 at Gateway. In grades 6 - 9 students take an annual tour of a local college --University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley. In middle school advisories, students research the offerings at universities around the country. Then in high school they commence concrete planning to choose and apply to college.
