Genesys WorksDescription
Once accepted, students participate in Genesys Works for 14 months, beginning in the summer before their senior year when they participate in a rigorous eight-week training program. In the Bay Area, the summer training focuses on two areas: technical skills in information technology and professional skills. Training is designed to prepare students for a job in the Information Technology department of a major corporation. During the school year, students typically attend classes in the morning and work in the afternoon. Students are paid while simultaneously gaining valuable working knowledge of the corporate world.
