Description
Stanford Institutes of Medicine Research Bioengineering Internship is an eight-week hands-on design and engineering experience for high school students from diverse backgrounds. Students are exposed to exciting and novel bioengineering research topics through lectures given by Stanford researcher.
Students gain a unique experience working closely with a teaching team of bright graduate and undergraduate students who teach the design process, recruit lecture speakers, provide mentorship and insightful critiques on deliverables.
Apply HERE by February 22 using the regular SIMR application (there will be an opportunity to apply for the BioE Internship on the application). Applicants must be current juniors or seniors to apply. There is a $40 application fee, but students may apply for a fee waiver before submitting their official application.
