The Summer Math and Science Honors Academy (SMASH) is a free of cost, STEM-intensive, college preparatory program for underrepresented high school students of color.
High School Explainers are students (age 15 +) who engage visitors at exhibits, lead demonstrations, and run museum operations. Some are interested in science; all have a spark for learning new things.
Summer College is a residential eight-week college experience that provides academic, social, and intellectual opportunities for program participants to take challenging college-level courses.
For students 16-21. During the fall and spring semester DSY's leadership training is organized as a series of weekly workshops led by senior executives from some of SF's leading corporations.
