At the School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences, high school students spend the summer working in research laboratories. The students become involved in existing research projects and are supervised directly by graduate students, post docs and lab managers.
The SF Zoo offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. In the Take a Walk on the Wild Side program you learn how to handle livestock, insects and more, while giving informational talks to Zoo visitors. Utilize biofact carts to educate the public.
