For two weeks (13 nights), ~30 middle schoolers from a diverse set of schools will sleep in cabins, swim in the pool, hike through the redwoods, navigate the low-ropes course, learn archery, play 'gaga' and field games, perform skits, and gather around the fire pit.

Volunteers act as the Museum’s enthusiastic docents and ambassadors, and lead workshops developed by our education team.
Each summer, 826 Valencia hosts its annual Young Authors’ Workshop (YAW). The Young Authors’ Workshop is a two-week intensive writing camp for Bay Area students entering grades ten through twelve. The camp features writing workshops and seminars led by guest authors.

Youth Art Exchange offers free arts classes for high school students during the school year and summer. Youth Art Exchange sparks a shared creative practice between professional artists and public high school students, furthering youth as leaders, thinkers, and artists in San Francisco.
